OverviewWhat started out as a search for information on family origins turned into a living detective story as much evidence was found, analyzed, then pursued. In the process of writing this book, it was possible to capture certain family stories and bring people to life in a sense. And the pinnacle of success in this venture of 20 plus years was to find cousins, aunts, and uncles that the author never knew existed. As part of the narrative various research methods are noted with examples or descriptions of the results. Mr. Yarom made excellent use of his experience in technical analysis and documentation. His style of writing in this genre makes for easy, enjoyable, and educational reading. Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationMattityahu Yarom is a retired systems engineer who came from a Jewish family in the New York City area. For many years he thought his family was rather small. In the early 1990s he decided to conduct some research in order to learn a bit more about his family -- who the aunts and uncles were and where the family had lived prior to immigrating to the U.S. From virtually no documentation together with memories of a few family stories he researched for more than 15 years before deciding to capture the work product in a book. He then spent 5 years writing the first edition as research was on going. And he learned that his family is quite a bit larger than he originally thought.
