Author Information

Stephen Nett is a trail-experienced naturalist, nature journalist and author creating guides and resources for growing happy nature-loving kids. Stephen earned his Naturalist certification from the Univ. of California in Yosemite National Park and manages to spend 40 plus miles a month out exploring dirt trails in wild places, hunting wonders. He is a science editor for a National Laboratory, a member of the National Association for Interpretation, and the Children & Nature Network, lives by a coastal river in a forest rich with wildlife, minutes from Pacific surf, writing nature books and articles. His three grandchildren are just starting to explore their marvelous natural world.
