Overview

Mr. Vetare's life from a small town in Putnam County, New York, through four years as a Naval Air Photographer, gaining his B.S. degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and finally, hired as a Technical Sales Representative with Eastman Kodak takes many interesting, varied, and some quite surprising turns. The four assignments, during his twenty-two years with Kodak showed the many advantages and benefits, while exhibiting the frailties of a highly successful, profitable, but vulnerable company. As a Kodak manager, Mr. Vetare takes a good look back to pin point these vulnerable signs and what these finally did to help send this world wide, successful company into Chapter 11.
