Amazing-every teacher must read! Angela Mota, a reviewer from Canada Amazing book that provides insight into how MLL students lives and experiences. Buy this book! Karen Hawes, A Reviewer from Canada This book is fantastic! Its a pleasure to read and as someone with a disability makes me feel seen and understood. I have always struggled in school, reading this book reminded me why learning matters and taught me so much. You will laugh, cry, and want to reflect on what you value, what inspires you. Buy this book, you wont regret it. Worth the read! Noah Thomson, a reviewer from Canada This is a wonderful and inspirational book to read! A book about overcoming so many things in life. While you read it you will feel so many different emotions that make it a very amazing memoir to read! I reccomend it for everyone to read and for a great feel good read! A deeply personal memoir Lois Strachan, A reviewer from Capetown South Africa An intensely personal and emotive account of the challenges of living with a disability and the emotional impact that can be caused by educators, both negative and positive. The tone of the book was casual and deeply honest and felt immediate. Perhaps a few more explanatory notes would have made some of the details clearer for an international reader, especially about the Canadian education system, but this did not significantly detract from the power of the story being shared. Overall, I connected with the author's experiences and felt I gained good insights into her life. I love this book! Laura Ousley, a reviewer From the United States The story is not only one of inspiration, but also one that you can't put down without reading to the end. It takes you on a compelling journey of hardship, love, determination and bravery (all from a little girl with a very strong heart). Schools could use this book as a reminder that education is something to cherish. Shobana Ramesh, reviewer from Canada I love this book! Ghofran explained her experiences in such an inspiring way and ended on a positive note. I highly recommend the book to others. Inspiring and undeniably thought-provoking Christina Law, Reviewer from the United States This book inspired me with its message and the author's ability to connect with readers on a personal level. She shares her journey of overcoming her disability in various ways and also highlights her deep passion for education. I enjoyed reading about and could relate to the special bond she shares with her mentor/teacher. If you are looking for a captivating story that will keep you engaged, this book is a must-read!
