OverviewThe main purpose of this book is to ask if there is a creator and another unseen dimension in this universe, and whether there is another life after this one, in another place called the New Earth. Did God or somebody create the universe or did the universe come into being by itself, as some scientists believe? Is there no room for a deity in this universe, as one of the famous scientists said? Is it possible that a universe of this vastness, containing billions of galaxies and stars, just happened by itself, and what about all the creatures including mankind and animals and birds in their diversity, complexity and form? Did they create themselves? Human intellect cannot accept this argument. And if God created this universe and us in it, for what purpose was it? The angels advised God not to create this human that will shed blood and corrupt the Earth, but God told them that he knew better and created him anyway, so what was it that God knew but the angels didn't? This is the mystery and intrigue that made me write this book. I have been thinking about this for decades. For the past fifty years I have been reading about this subject from many scientists and philosophers, like Plato, Aristotle and other Greek philosophers, and also mystic Persian poets and philosophers like Rumi and Omar Khayyam, and many others. I have read many books by modern scientists like Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, Erwin Schrodinger, Sir Roger Penrose, Sir Martin Rees, Sir Issac Newton and hundreds of others too numerous to mention here. I have tried as much as possible not to make this a book of religion or science, as it is for everybody regardless of their religion or belief or scientific knowledge. This book contains many chapters regarding the creation of mankind and the universe, from the Big Bang that started the universe, stars and galaxies, to the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, and all the way to ideas of philosophers and scientists modern and old regarding the purpose of creation.
