"“Yes, Mistress pulls back the curtain on male submissiveness with an insider’s view of what female dominatrices and male submissives are thinking, feeling, and seeking when they engage in one of the most prevalent yet misunderstood forms of erotic play. Boldly guiding us into the heart of those places and moments where fantasies become real, Alicia Zadig reveals that the male desire for submission (and the female desire for dominance) are neither anomalous nor unconventional—they are natural expressions of some of the most fundamental urges of our sexual brain.” -- Ogi Ogas, neuroscientist and co-author of A Billion Wicked Thoughts: What The World’s Largest Experiment Reveals About Human Desire “Just because our conversations about what we like in the bedroom are finally opening up, it doesn’t mean we always understand what our partner really wants—or why. Yes, Mistress is an engaging, extraordinary guide to the mind and motivation of the male submissive while also demystifying the role of the female dominant. Alicia Zadig’s clear and comprehensive writing, brimming with real-life anecdotes and relatable commentary from BDSM practitioners on both sides of the whip, is illuminating for anyone trying to understand the nature of D/s relationships and immensely affirming for those who have such desires and are ready to start exploring.”      -- Olivia Troy, BDSM consultant for television and film, co-writer/producer of Bonding (Netflix) “Alicia Zadig explores male submissives, from novelty-seeking sexual adventurers to men seeking profound experiences in suffering and servitude. She does so with the sensitivity of an anthropologist and the confidence of a dominatrix. Ms. Zadig knows these men and their cravings intimately, and her book, Yes, Mistress, offers tantalizing insights into what compels these men to subvert gender scripts.” -- Jane Boon, Ph.D., Author of Edge Play “Using her extensive professional knowledge along with intimate and revealing interviews, Alicia Zadig brings to light a side of male desire that’s rarely seen in the public eye. With empathy, curiosity, and understanding, Zadig offers a deep dive into male submission that will be of interest to anyone who cares about human sexuality.”  -- Rachel Kramer Bussel, Editor, The Big Book of Orgasms ""Never before has there been such a comprehensive, thoughtful, and loving look into male submission, filled with engaging personal insights as well as copious research. Whether you're interested in submission or domination, this book will hold your hand as it wakes up your desires.""  -- Evie Vane, author of ""Better Bondage for Every Body"" and ""The Little Guide to Getting Tied Up."""

Valentina pulls back the curtain on male submissiveness with an insider's view of what female Dominatrices and their male submissive are thinking, feeling, and seeking when they engage in one of the most prevalent yet misunderstood forms of erotic play. -- Dr. Ogi Ogas, Author of A Billion Wicked Thoughts If Valentina Zadig is half as good a Domme as she is an author, then she surely leaves her submissives begging for more. Written with erudition, authenticity, and exuberance, Yes, Mistress takes you to the erotic edge and lets you peer into an underground that is fascinating, revelatory, and challenging of the gender assumptions and power dynamics that proliferate in the light of day.
