He edited Wooding’s 1994 Lake, River & Sea-run Fishes of Canada. He has published on living and fossil Percidae, Catostomidae, and Pomacentridae. Dr. Robin L. DeBruyne conducts fisheries research on the Great Lakes and other large-lake ecosystems on topics including predator-prey dynamics, population dynamics, effects of ecosystem changes, and has concentrated on fish early-life history and habitat restoration research in the St. Clair-Detroit River System and Lake Erie since 2012.
