OverviewWrecks & Relics provides all that is needed to discover the aeronautical treasures of the British Isles. A comprehensive touring guide, Wrecks & Relics has developed an enviable reputation as the answer for those with an interest in museums, warbirds, military and civil relics. It is a trusted companion to curators, restorers, operators and enthusiasts alike. Expanded and completely revised, the 24th edition provides even more details on a vast array of aircraft including their build and retirement dates. It now highlights how long exhibits have been with museums and major collections. Covering more than 750 locations, Wrecks & Relics is indispensable: giving the inside story on attractions large and small, including exhibits, locations, opening times, contact points and much more. Over 700 types and over 5,000 aircraft are detailed, including potted histories, helpful comments and over 190 color illustrations. Warbirds, classic and vintage, out‐of‐service propliners and jets, modern military hardware, restoration projects, replicas, derelicts and 'long forgotten' oddities are all here. For over 50 years, Wrecks & Relics has led the way as the only reference you'll need.
