He has written The Algonquin Round Table New York: A Historical Guide (Lyons Press) and four other books about New York. Fitzpatrick served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1984-1989. Born in Baltimore, he resides on the Upper West Side and Shelter Island, NY. Fitzpatrick is a member of The Lambs and the Guides Association of New York City.
