Lam Institute for East-West Studies, Hong Kong Baptist University. He has published many articles on stress, coping, and mental health in international scholarly journals, including Social Science and Medicine, Asian Journal of Social Science, Singapore Medical Journal, Chinese Journal of Mental Health, Journal of Asian and African Studies, and Journal of Developing Societies. Routledge published in 2005 his two new books: Migration, Ethnic Relations and Chinese Business, and Chinese Identities, Ethnicity and Cosmopolitanism. Both books examine the identities and mental health of migrants and immigrants.
