She studied interior design and attended night school for classes on graphic design. Now, she lives in Gits (Belgium) with her husband, three children, and two cats. Since 2010, she runs her own design studio: Creamanie. In 2013, she and her husband bought a loft in Roeselare (Belgium) and rebuilt it into a coworking space: Crealoft. Initially, Mieke designed both communication material and interiors. Now, she focuses mainly on graphic design for companies.
