Overview"You have before you a work that will serve as a point of inspiration to heal your relationship with your parents, and in particular with your mother. More than a biography, this book is a manual for loving one's mother and family unconditionally. Each page is filled with vivid scenes, which at first appear painful and distressing, but then turn into genuine expressions of love and emotional healing points. Rosita and Consuelo are two heroines. The latter, since she was a teenager, promised herself to give her mother the quality of life of a true Queen. Each paragraph illustrates that relentless battle, to which she devoted a good part of her life, transforming what for others would be a SACRIFICE into a simple expression of the immense love she had for her mother. The mother in this story was always attentive to keep her children warm with her protective cloak, preventing even poverty from ruining their lives. Their tireless struggles confirm that true poverty is not a lack of money, but a lack of love. According to the author, ""as I look back on my mother's life, I understand that women with character and drive have been a constant in the history of humanity, even if that story has been told mainly from the perspective of men. Of course, in many homes there are also fathers, and by millenary tradition, they are supposed to be the providers. And they sure are. However, the mother is the great architect who not only designs but also builds happiness."" Beautiful and profound learnings abound in this book, such as when the author expresses that throughout our lives, we treasure so many fears that their value exceeds that of the large number of things we surround ourselves with to enjoy life. Through this biography, she overcame many of her fears and also that feeling of great emptiness that she was left with after the death of her mother. Her final piece of advice is more of an invitation: ""The only thing I can say is that, really, writing is a wonderful therapy and no one should deprive themselves of it."
