Author Information

Steven Unfreid has known Christ since childhood, yet a supernatural encounter with God in 2000 altered the trajectory of his life. His quest to know and experience more of Jesus is contagious. His passion is now to bless his Creator, live a blessed life, and help others do likewise. Steve earned his Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and his Master's Degree in Education Administration from South Dakota State University. Steve served 20 years in the U.S. Army on active duty during peacetime and war and retired in 2014 at the rank of lieutenant colonel. Additionally, Steve served seven years in education as a high school teacher, principal and administrator. Steve also has spent over 30 years hunting and fishing in Alaska. Steve and his wife Kathe have four kids and eight grandkids. They live in Palmer Alaska.
