Overview

Are you a fan of the 1990's, Do you remember the days when there were no mobile phones? Teenagers wrote love letters instead of sending text messages. There was No Facebook, No WhatsApp, No TikTok. How did we entertain ourselves back then? Here is a journey into the lives of four teenage boys growing up in a rough neighbourhood and the many practical lessons that one can learn along the way These quirky tales follow the misadventures of the lives' of five dorky teenage boys growing up in the 1990's, who live in Gerehu and attend Gerehu High School. These stories also centre around the residential area along the back street of Tauriganika Drive Gerehu, Stage Two and the local gangsters who inhabited the area. The tales revolve around five main characters' myself Charlie aka Kakz, Mervin aka Mez, Darren aka Dex, Steven aka Stero, and Woodrow aka Woody and their various antics in pursuit of the opposite sex and their love for all things martial arts. Bullies and the gang culture that was rife throughout the school, the local gangsters and some of their silly antics and all the hottest girls on the street. On a more serious note I take you on a journey through these quirky tales to explain some practical moral lessons for 'Life, Work and Business' that of all places are embed in these quirky tales from the streets.
