Master in Territorial Planning. Master in Urban Planning. Professor at the Department of Human Geography, University of Granada (Spain), since 2000. Previously, he has worked as a geographer-consultant in private companies, drawing up regional, sub-regional and urban plans. He has numerous publications related to rural development both in books and in WOS/JCR journals. He is specialised in subjects related to the spatial treatment of geographicalphenomena through Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Databases and participates assiduously in research projects both at national and international level, oriented towards the analysis of territorial planning processes and rural development.
