Overview

The very different meanings of the rainbow symbol in our world reflect a fundamental worldview divide. Understanding how our view of homosexuality is linked to our view of spirituality and to our view of God will help us see the deep theological implications for Christians as they seek to minister to homosexual, lesbian and gender-confused neighbours and friends.

Reviews

Peter Jones has lived through pivotal changes in Western culture and he knows how to catalog shattering worldview shifts better than any Christian writing today. This book is majestic, pastoral, insightful, disarming, easy to read and vital to digest. -Rosaria Butterfield Dr. Peter Jones has put words to what we who have come out of the Episcopal tradition have experienced for many years but felt ourselves too proper and cultured to speak about. However, in his speaking about 'paganism, ' Dr. Jones has hit the nail on the head. -Bishop Eric Menees, Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin Like his famous namesake, the second century Bishop of Lyons, Peter combines a rich grasp of biblical theology with a gospel instinct that enables him to put his finger on error and spiritual danger. Every generation of Christians needs an Irenaeus. I am glad the Lord has given one to our generation and-I hope-to the generation to come. -Sinclair B. Ferguson, Former Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, South Carolina
