Overview

Evander Darkborne enjoys a simple life on the floating island of Moss. He spends his days running his bar, the Oaken Barrel, and mingling with the quaint townsfolk. Moss has proven a comfortable, remote sort of life high up in the skies, placed there by the ancient people known as the Celestials. Despite its quiet demeanor, the sky island endures moments of quakes. But as the quakes worsen, Evander uncovers something strange beneath the surface. Madeleine, a rogue class adventurer, joins her party up on Moss where she watches as their leader, the paladin Henry, start falling in love with the strange bartender known as Evander. Her distrust builds as they return to Central, the surface, and they begin to pursue a mafia known as the Adne Family. This Family is after one thing and one thing only - ancient and powerful Celestial technology. Whoever controls the Celestial treasures controls the world. When a chance comes to go to an auction where precious Celestial artifacts and technology are up for bid in front of the world's richest and most powerful, both Evander and Madeleine are dragged into the chaos. For this is a night where the fate of the world rests in their hands.
