Overview

Cosmic Indifference, coined by H.P. Lovecraft, is the idea that given how large and vast the universe is, God, the gods, or the Universe would ultimately be indifferent to human life and human struggle, seeing it as insignificant in the grand scheme of things. It's because of that indifference, we wonder if there is something out there greater than ourselves. Do they see us? Hear us? Do they see the evil, corruption and suffering in the world.
