I sat down with a notebook and dozens of hours of interviews to watch and listen to: pilots, sensor operators, soldiers, journalists, engineers, ordinary witnesses like you and me, skeptics. Very quickly, certain stories stood out. My goal with this book is simple: to put you in the room-cockpit, radar room, interview studio-and let you perceive what these men and women describe, in as much detail as possible: a fighter pilot filming an aircraft making a right-angle turn-something impossible for a human-crewed craft without the pilot being slammed against the side of the cockpit; a radar operator watching his target drop from 24,000 meters to a few dozen meters above the ocean in under a second; a special operations soldier (a SEAL) recounting a night-time encounter with an armed group in an unknown uniform-faster and more efficient than his own squad-stepping out of a craft hanging silently above the ground, a craft that appears in no known catalog. But also, far from any military base, an apparition of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Garabandal (Spain), in 1962, during which the Virgin Mary answers a question no bishop would have dared to ask: ""Do other civilizations exist in the universe?""
