Delecia Holt studied applied research and statistical analysis at San Diego State University and worked for RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, CA. in their research department as well as several County and U.S. government agencies. It was as a Republican congressional candidate for the US House of Representatives from California, Delecia was propelled to national awareness during the 2006 elections to replace Randy Duke Cunningham in San Diego's 50th Congressional District. As the only female Republican that entered the race, she stood out in a sea of male GOP candidates. What most people found most striking about her was that she was the only black female to enter what was later termed the Good Old Boys Club of millionaire, white, male candidates. Holt shares with the reader her fascinating experiences with such incredible personalities as the US presidents, US political figures, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Michael Jackson, Mitt Romney, and the immeasurable impact they have had on her life's journey. What the Princess Discovered is a humorous blend of autobiographical and social policy analysis that deviates from the typical and is unlike any other you have ever read.
