Overview

Literary/scientific success implies a double new birth: the literary, if he wants to be literary, must be born anew spiritually and scientifically so as not to clash with scientific theories or works that come from the flesh, blood, intellect and will of man, and which can contribute nothing to the world except ethnocentrism or egoism. He must be born of Spirit, in order to easily control the quality of knowledge produced in the literary and scientific fields. It must, through the Spirit - and not through intellect ˗ - transform the world in the interests of justice and the common good. How can we transform the world without having triumphed over it? But only the Holy Spirit can enable us to triumph over the world, and qualify us for its transformation: from now on, we'll be spiritually informed about literary, scientific and social problems, their spiritual and scientific identities, and the kinds of solutions we can bring to them through literature.
