Author Information

Alex Gardener worked in the banking industry for years until the 2008 housing crash left him jobless with a mortgage and a ton of debt. All the talk of go to school and get a good job rang hollow as he was forced to learn how to make an income and pay his bills with a combination of freelancing and budgeting acrobatics. However, his banking experience gave him an inside look at how the average person seemed to be at the mercy of the financial system while wealthier people used it to their advantage. He used this knowledge to educate his friends and family on how to invest while protecting against economic downturns and financial losses. After a while, he doubled his previous salary. Alex is living proof that anyone can survive whatever financial catastrophe life throws at you and thrive no matter what's happening with the economy. Nicole Carter is an Editor based out of Greenville, South Carolina.
