Wir leben in einer Zeit des Wandels: Krisen, Konflikte, Kriege, der Fortschritt der Zivilisation und die Entwicklung neuer Technologien verändern die Welt. In der Geschichte der Sprachwissenschaftsforschung lassen sich viele markante Wendepunkte beobachten. Die Abkehr von der strukturalistischen Sprachbetrachtung und die Hinwendung zur kognitiven Sprachauffassung und kognitiv ausgerichteten Sprachanalyse war einer davon. Dies bedingte die Entstehung und Herauskristallisierung neuer linguistischer Teildisziplinen, die das sprachliche Handeln des Menschen aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln untersuchten (z. B. Sozio-, Ethno-, Psycho-, Diskurs- und Ökolinguistik). Die vorliegenden Beiträge liefern aufschlussreiche Erkenntnisse und Forschungsperspektiven sowie neue Fragestellungen und Herangehensweisen an das Phänomen Wende aus linguistischer Sicht. We are living in an era of transformations: The world is changing due to crises, conflicts, wars, the progress of civilization and the development of new technologies, among other things. In the history of linguistics research, many striking turning points could also be observed. The turn away from the structuralist view of language and towards the cognitive view of language and cognitively oriented language analysis was one of them. As a result, new linguistic sub-disciplines emerged and crystalized that examined human linguistic action from different angles (e.g. socio-, ethno-, psycho-, discourse- and eco-linguistics). The contributions presented in this volume provide insightful findings and research perspectives as well as new questions and approaches to the phenomenon of turn-taking from a linguistic perspective.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. habil. Anna Dargiewicz leitet den Lehrstuhl für Deutsche Sprache an der Warmia und Mazury-Universität in Olsztyn, Polen. Sie studierte Germanistik an der Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Universität Toruń, promovierte und habilitierte an der Warmia und Mazury-Universität in Olsztyn. Ihre Hauptforschungsgebiete sind Syntax der deutschen Gegenwartssprache, Valenztheorie, Morphologie, Wortbildung, Fremdwortbildung, Hybridwortbildung, Semantik, Translatorik sowie kontrastive Linguistik. Dr. Marcelina Kałasznik arbeitet am Institut für Germanistik der Universität Wrocław, Polen. Sie forscht zu Lexikologie, Pragmalinguistik, Onomastik und Medienlinguistik. Dr. habil. Jacek Makowski ist Universitätsprofessor am Institut für Germanistik der Universität Łódź, Polen. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Politolinguistik, Fachsprachenforschung und -didaktik, Sprach(en)politik, Sprache in Institutionen sowie Fremd- und Fachsprachen in beruflichen Kontexten. Prof. Dr. habil. Joanna Szczęk leitet seit 2013 den Lehrstuhl für Angewandte Linguistik am Institut für Germanistik der Universität Wrocław. Sie studierte Germanistik an der Universität Wrocław, Promotion (2004) und Habilitation (2015) an derselben Universität.
