Reviews

We'll Never Be Young Again presents a compelling account of our 35th president's final days. Written with remarkable detail and intimacy, this combination of history, narrative and personal stories chronicles the shared experience of shock and grief - from many different points of view - with vignettes and recollections from a wide cross-section of the population. The book includes over 125 letters from people such as Senator John Kerry, Robert McNamara, Jack Valenti, Dominick Dunne, Liz Smith, Billy Dee Williams, Letitia Baldridge, Wally Schirra.and Jerry Lewis. A running timeline adds a capsule view of other world events.
