Author Information

Juan He is associate professor of English linguistics at Jimei University, Xiamen, China, since 2005. In 2018, she went to Sydney and was working with Dr. Helen Caple via the International Research Practicum at the University of New South Wales, Australia. In 2022, she finished her PhD program under the supervision of Prof. Jonathan Webster at the City University of Hong Kong, China. Her research areas are Systemic Functional Linguistics, Multimodal Discourse Analysis and new development in China’s news media.
