Veden spent three years serving in the United States Army, later spending the majority of his career working for a Fortune 500 energy company. He previously published the book My Heroes, which details his interviews with the organization Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge and its members. The son of a World War II veteran, Barry has always been supportive of veterans, and he hopes his work as a writer and a journalist will preserve their stories for generations to come.
