OverviewThe Warrior Company equipped with Warrior infantry fighting vehicles is the ""building block"" of today's British heavy infantry. The infantryman still fights on foot, but he rides into battle in a tracked, armoured vehicle with its own turret armament. He emerges as close to the target as possible under the covering fire of the Warrior's powerful automatic cannon. For the seven-man squad and three crew, the Warrior provides a kind of mobile home, carrying their kit and rations as well as support weapons and ammunition. This book presents nearly 100 colour photographs of the Warrior APC and its specialist variants in service in the UK, Germany, Poland, Canada, the Gulf and Bosnia. They are accompanied by a detailed text by the respected armour expert Simon Dunstan.
