Though the Napoleonic era is the backdrop for the techniques skillfully demonstrated in this handy book, it is full of great insights and tips about materials, tools and paints applicable to modeling scenery for a much wider swath of history and scales. --Toy Soldier & Model Figure Tony has obviously taken copious notes, as well as photos, as he has constructed his buildings. At the end of each chapter is a full list of what materials and paints he used during the construction of the buildings, so you have some idea of how to put together a similar structure.--Meeples & Miniatures
