Julie Decker, Ph.D., is a project manager for Trailer ArtCenter, Director of the International Gallery of Contemporary Art, and a frequent guest art curator at the Anchorage Museum.She is also an instructor of art history for the University ofAlaska. She holds a doctorate in contemporary art history, a master's degree in arts administration, and bachelor degrees in fine art and journalism. Decker has authored numerous articles and publications on the art and architecture of Alaska, including John Hoover: Art & Life, Icebreakers: Alaska's Most Innovative Artists, Found & Assembled in Alaska, Quonset: Metal Living for a Modern Age, Modern North: Architecture on the FrozenEdge and True North: Contemporary Architecture of Alaska.As an artist, she has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, working in painting, sculpture and photography
