Reviews

I am not a history buff but I found it more personal the way Richard put a contemporary into historical events-a great variety of them! It changes the way you look at what I always thought so dull! Thank you, Richard. I got D's in History class, but now I would earn an A. I wonder if that means anything at 78 years old. Haha. Thank you for making the effort to write all this. As a writer myself, I know how much work is involved! I just finished four more books. Check mine out on Amazon, will you? Soon they will be on Kindle as well.May God richly bless you in your endeavors. Judy Parrott This is a great read for those interested in history. It is written in the form of short important historical episodes about America. It could be a good text book for younger kids but as an adult with a thirst for historical knowledge I have really enjoyed it. The book is full of researched actual happenings from the making of the United States and has taught me things I did not know as well as refresh my memory about a lot of interesting people. If nothing else, buy it for your kids, especially if they attend public schools, where they will not be taught much of this rich and verified history. It involves a character who goes back in time, is very clever and easy to read. McBain has done a nice job with this one! Rory Mays
