Suttie, Ph.D., is the Katherine Berns Van Donk Steenbock Professor Emeritus in the Department of Biochemistry and former Chair of the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has broad expertise in biochemistry and human nutrition. Dr. Suttie received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has been involved in the activities of the Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine to establish dietary requirements and is a member of the National Academy of Sciences.
