He has held positions at the National University of Kiev, the University of Warsaw, Michigan State University, the University of New Hampshire, and also at the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education - Economics Institute, a joint workplace of Charles University and the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He is currently Full Professor at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, where he is the founding Director of the graduate program in Economics.
