Author Information

Kirt Kempter has conducted tours all over the planet for the National Geographic Society, the Smithsonian Institutions, and other organizations. He is a Fulbright scholar and volcanologist with a PhD in geology from the University of Texas. Kirt lives in Santa Fe. Dick Huelster has happily pursued his love of archaeology by doing extensive examinations of sites, surveying, and mapping for the Office of Archeological Studies. He and his wife, Kathryn, live in Santa Fe, NM.
