Author Information

Nonie Douglas is an artist, writer, and esotericist who is fascinated with the practice and preservation of mystery traditions of the British Isles, which she shares with her partner Rob. Impelled by her pursuit of ancestral spirituality, Nonie teaches about the soul's journey and brings peace to the dead through traditional cultural rites. Her recent artwork focuses on depicting arcana and magical philosophy through imagery and symbolism. As part of the Scottish diaspora, Nonie is interested in helping others who seek a genuine spiritual path to reconnect to their origins and respectfully embrace living traditions. Rob Douglas has been committed to the study and practice of magic and occultism for over thirty years. He is a multi-traditionalist who spent his formative years in rural Scotland. Learning at his mother's knee, Rob grew up amid rich cultural practices which included Laying Ghosts and a legacy of regional magical traditions. His love of esoterica led him to become a dedicated ritualist and independent researcher with specialist knowledge in medieval ceremonial magic and British initiatory traditions. Rob and his partner Nonie have provided spiritual counsel, resolved many hauntings, and advised paranormal investigators on difficult cases. Polly Lee is the narrator of several audiobooks for both adults and children, including In My Shoes, Mice, and Sinful in Satin. Lee has a BA in Theatre Studies from London University, and an MFA in acting from The New School. She was raised in London, England, and now lives in New York City.
