Overview

Jeffrey McPoe plummets below the fifty feet deep cliff with his car, one heart-pounding event ahead of his disaster. Although the investigator himself, he has just become the interrogated, and is now the embassy's object of investigation. As the probe tracks his frantic race towards proving his innocence, he is tormented by mad visions. With the knowledge that his time in the embassy is running out, he is determined to fight back for his vindication. Responding to little more than the primitive quest for justice at any cost, he retreats ever deeper into the cradle of his own government, one which never has eyes glowed bright green in the headlight, and bares no fangs to bite for his case. Unpoetic Justice takes you on a journey of investigation, and an avowed loyalty of one of the Consular Investigators of the U.S. Embassy of two and a half decades. ABOUT the AUTHOR Eufrain McPoonin (aka Efren) was born in the City of Seven Lakes, Philippines to Filipino parents, grew up in Manila, and returned to Quezon province to settle down in 1974. For fourteen years he worked with the U.S. Embassy as Consular Investigator of the Anti-Fraud Unit and became recipient of two Meritorious Honor Awards, one Special Achievement Award, and one Adopted Suggestion Award. After his service with the U.S Embassy, he became Security Director of a security agency in the Philippines. He is a university Criminology and Law Enforcement graduate, and a Private Investigator alumnus of Penn Foster School, Pennsylvania. Efren is a co-founder of Rescue 117, a duly registered and award-recipient civic organization in the Philippines. He has also achieved the title of Ezine Articles Expert Author and is a member of good standing with EzineArticles.com. He has contributed a lot of articles in different websites and is now publishing this, his first novel, a story which will take you on a journey of investigation, and an avowed loyalty of one of the Consular Investigators of the U.S. Embassy of about one and a half decades.
