I wrote this book for my niece, and I realized if I could help her understand, then I could reach out to other teens and youths of America to understand the dangers of socialism and how it can impact your life as an American. What freedom is, and how to best utilize the free enterprise system America has to offer. It is written from the perspective of your Aunt Kitty. I blend historical events and people and apply them to the current events of today. Anyone may enjoy this book.

"Madeleine ""Kitty"" Templeton graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pa and has lived in Washington DC most of her life. Witnessing politics and protests in Estonia, the former Soviet Union, in 1990, and from extensive study of Russian History, Madeleine has gained a unique perspective on socialism and communism. In living in the Nation's capital, and from witnessing the national and local politics of Washington DC, Kitty has learned a thing or two about America.
