Author Information

Jill Gleba grew up outside Detroit Michigan, and founded Gleba and Associates, an independent financial management firm, more than 35 years ago. Her introduction to investing happened at 12 years old when she took the earnings from her paper route and invested in the market. She lives with her husband Bruce, and they both enjoy the outdoors, traveling, golfing, and spending time with her two adult kids Michelle (Nick) and Robert (Courtney) and their dogs. Being an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), Jill helped many businesses, employees, and families save and invest for their future. Over the years, Jill realized that many people were not taught how to invest money and feels this should be common sense and as normal as driving a car. She wants to change this pattern for every working family. She has been consistently presented the 5-star award as a top planner in Metro Detroit featured in Hour Detroit Magazine and Detroit Monthly Magazine. Jill is a certified women business owner, a board member of Furniture Bank, and has been featured on radio, television, and a speaker for many organizations on the topic of money. Courtney is an artist and illustrator based in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she lives with her partner, Robert, and their two dogs. She developed a love of visual storytelling while studying Art and Design as well as Communications at the University of Michigan. Through her illustrations, she tells the story of the little moments that give meaning to, and breathe a little adventure into, our everyday lives.
