Professor Dr. Ottmar Beucher ist promovierter Mathematiker und hat 6 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Nachrichtentechnik. Er ist seit 17 Jahren Hochschullehrer an der Hochschule Karlsruhe - Technik und Wirtschaft. Davon halt er schon 15 Jahre Vorlesung zum Thema Signale und Systeme. Aus dieser Vorlesung ist das Buch entstanden. Die Inhalte sind also lehrerprobt ! Er ist Buchautor eines weit verbreiteten Einfuhrungsbuchs in das Simulationswerkzeug MATLAB/Simulink.
