This atmospheric retelling of the comic and entertaining tale of unrequited love and mistaken identity captures the heightened emotion of Shakespeare's classic of English literature. Echoing the language of the original it makes an ideal introduction to the play for all readers new to Shakespeare. Newly illustrated with striking black-and-white illustrations, this retelling was previously published in the collections SHAKESPEARE'S STORIES: COMEDIES (UK sales of 10,000) and SHAKESPEARE'S STORIES (UK sales of 35,000).
