Excerpt from Twelfth Annual Fair of the North Carolina Agricultural Society: To Be Held in the City of Raleigh, October 15, 16, 17 and 18, 1872 A meeting of the members of the North Carolina Agricultural Soci ety will be held at the Commons Hall, in the Capitol, on Monday evening, October the 14th, at 7 o'clock, for the transaction of busi ness, and on each subsequent evening, during the Fair at the same time and place, for discussion and for reading of papers on subjects relating to agricultural and other material interest of the State. Arrangements have been made with the Railroads of the State, to pass freight, animals or articles for exhibition, to and from the Fair, free and passengers at rates less than heretofore, which will be published in due time.
