Author Information

Jeremy Fisher is a youthful adult singer-songwriter-musician, full of childlike wonder—and with instantly recognizable hair. He’s curious, enthusiastic, and passionate about music, and loves its ability to convey emotions and help explore the world around us through music and storytelling.  The pop-folk singer-songwriter has been making music since 2001. He has toured across Canada, the US, Australia, and Japan. He is adored by the Canadian music industry and has shared the stage with acts such as Alanis Morissette, Blue Rodeo, Measha Brueggergosman, and many more. Jeremy recently began writing and recording children’s music under the Jeremy Fisher Junior banner upon the birth of his daughter, as part of a drive to bring music into her everyday life. Music gets her up, gets her going, and calms her down at the end of the day. It gives her a framework to express emotions and learn about the world. With the success of Jeremy’s debut children’s album, Highway to Spell, Jeremy is performing his songs and stories to kids, parents, caregivers, and educators in theatre venues, festivals, schools and in online concerts reaching Canadians from coast to coast across Canada. His performances are entertaining and interactive and illustrate how music can help kids, parents, and everyone face their emotions. Music can also provide comfort and company when you feel alone.
