Overview

When the two women came down from the sky and told Berto he was a prime candidate for recruitment into a galactic war he found it hard to believe. At least... until his cousin was murdered by a Syndroid. Now all he wants is revenge. And to get that, he needs to become a knight in the Chevalier Sanctorum which means passing the grueling recruitment training. Pilot maneuvers, weapons drills, war games, physical exercise-Berto expects it will be tough. What he doesn't expect is to be accused of being an unwitting Syndroid spy. With the war at a tipping point, Berto must prove he can fight and integrate with the other recruits-hard to do when you're branded a Syndroid agent. But more importantly he must prove to the Chevalier Sanctorum and to himself that he can be trusted.
