Author Information

Hendree E. Jones, PhD, is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of UNC Horizons at UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. Jones has published more than 115 peer-reviewed publications, a book, several book chapters, multiple editorial letters, and non-peer-reviewed articles. She serves on NIH review panels and as a consultant to the U.S. State Department, the United Nations, and the World Health Organization. Karol Kaltenbach, PhD, is the Director of Maternal Addiction Treatment, Education and Research (MATER), a division of the Department of Pediatrics, at Jefferson Medical College. MATER includes a comprehensive intensive outpatient treatment program for pregnant and parenting women with substance use disorders and a long-term residential treatment program for women and children. She is an internationally recognized expert in the field of maternal addiction and has published extensively.
