OverviewThis book concerns the development of a trapezoidal control strategy of the electric cars (ECs) power chain with coiled rotor axial flux synchronous motor, minimizing their consumption. This control strategy is suitable for a systemic design methodology jointly optimizing the cost and consumption of ECs. It is based on the back electromotive force compensation, on the technique of over-fluxing during hard acceleration phases to minimize power consumption on the one hand and on the weakening technique to achieve the desired maximum speed on the other hand.
