Overview

Tom was approaching retirement. A friend showed him an article in the paper that said there were retirement benefits available for soldiers of World War One who served in the Italian army. The catch was that he would have to apply in person in Rome, Italy by a certain date. He decided to go back for the first time since returning from the war. His wife joined him for what was supposed to be a vacation with an added purpose. What happened next redefined his life forever.
