This little book is meant to be a short journey to discover the definition of happiness, to get to understand and remember that happiness is nothing more than the natural state of a being that flows spontaneously and naturally in a conscious way. We will examine ancient and modern concepts from different cultures that attribute the concept of flowing like water, in order to lead healthy, harmonious and happy lives. Moving from the wu wei concept to the sumi-e, from karma to music, passing from ikigai to love, seen with another interpretation and point of view. You will discover the difference between a genuine flow and an automatic flow. The basic concept of flow has existed for millennia, probably from the origin of human existence. Over time, people around the world have connected excellence with flow. From ancient samurai to modern athletes, flow, as a performance of natural movements and the flow of life energy, has been widely experienced, yet largely unknown, from the very beginning. So, starting from the etymological meaning of the word flow and the word happiness, we will see how the two words are connected and almost synonymous. Happiness is a by-product of flowing. In a constantly changing universe, flowing is the most natural and spontaneous thing you can do.
