Author Information

Thomas W. Britt is a Professor of Psychology at Clemson University. His research concerns the factors that contribute to individual and organizational resilience under stressful conditions and the ways employees may derive benefits from exposure to stressful events. His work has been featured in The Harvard Business Review, USA Today, and CNN.com. Steve M. Jex is a Professor of Psychology at Bowling Green State University. In addition to his academic work, he has held Guest Researcher positions at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. He is a contributing writer to several esteemed journals.
