Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationGerard Benson lives in Yorkshire. He is a poet, story-teller, singer and performer whose travels have taken him all over the world. He has told stories to children in an African garden, a Channel Islands zoo and a Thames cruiser, as well as schools, concert halls and theatres. he has had many jobs, amongst them sailor, actor, teacher, washer-upper and university lecturer. He now writes and gives readings and writing workshops to children and adults. With two friends, Gerard started, and still runs the Poems on the Underground scheme, placing poems on London tube trains.
