Excerpt from Third Annual Report of the State Mineralogist for the Year Ending, 1883 The full text of the Mining Bureau Act was published in the first report of the State Mineralogist, December 1, 1880. Since the second and last report, October 1, 1882, a fair progress may be reported. The Mining Bureau still occupies the premises N o 212 Sutter Street. Important and valuable additions have been made to the Museum, a considerable portion of which have been catalogued and placed in the cases.
