Overview

Do you yearn to escape a life that seems petty, meaningless, not enough? Do you feel that there should be more to life than mere existence, that you are somehow missing out on all of the fun? Do you desire to explore your self and the world around you? Do you wish you could experience the romantic, the exotic, the wild? Do you dream of what might be, of a deeper, more interesting life? This book is about achieving these dreams, in mind and in body. It is about being free, doing the impossible, having what you imagine. This is making fantasy become reality. This is living the dream. You can read these pages as amusing tales, like Aesop's Fables. Or you can read them as instructive insights, like Aesop's Fables. Or both. They are simple things, for they are true, and truth is always simple. They are results of looking at ordinary things in a new or unusual way. They concern Technology and Magic, Man and Nature, Believing and Knowing. They are products of insight, imagination and flights of fantasy. The things in this book are things that do exist in Heaven and Earth, but are not dreamt of in our philosophy. There are things you see every day, but have never seen at all. They are not fiction; they are not impossible. They are dreams in my philosophy. Welcome to my world. Cast off your chains. Stay free!

Author Information

"The Lonesome Hillbilly is a wanderer from birth. He was born in the USA, travelled a thousand miles by his first birthday, and ten thousand by his second. He lives on a motorcycle and in a tent, and hasn't slept indoors since the winter of 2013. He has been in every state of the Union, considers Republicans to be too liberal, Democrats to be too conservative, and Libertarians ""OK, but too reactionary"". He is a liberal conservative (or radical reactionary) himself. He currently resides somewhere within five hundred miles of the Rocky Mountains. Probably."
